Agent of S.W.O.R.D. synopsis:
Feeling isolated and screwed over by the skrulls, Jessica hides in London where she hopes no one will recognize her. She gets hired by Abigal Brand of S.W.O.R.D. Her first assignment is skrull hunting in Madripor but this is complicated by first Madame Hyrda and then the Thunder Bolts.

Dark Reign synopsis:
Jessica is invited by Wolverine to join the New Avengers, having nowhere else to go. She's the one who informs the other Avengers that S.H.I.E.L.D. no longer exists and later helps search for Luke and Jessica Jones's baby, Danielle. Along with Iron Fist, they attack a HYDRA base to see if the Skrull Jarvis has contacted any Earth villains seeking a way to leave New York, possibly Earth. (I'm not exactly sure how to reconcile this with Agent of SWORD. I mena how did she get from Madripor to New York so soon after Secret Invasion? Or conversely why did she leave after helping them hunt down the baby?)
Later she helps Mocking Bird go to the Dark Avengers' HQ to rescue Hawkeye (Clint) who has decided to kill Norman Osborn (Could this be any more out of character?).
Following this she attempts bait the Dark Avengers into a fight with the New Avengers; however, Norman Osborn realizes it's a trick and sends the Hood's gang instead, leaving her feeling responsible for the setup. (What she hoped to accomplish by this I have no idea. I think I am going to have her stealing intel and caught and this is the cover she comes up with.)

Her escaping a HYRDA cell after killing a skrull (bare handed) which they had in captivity.
Her smoking the Thunderbolts single handedly.

Wolverine telling her still not the most screwed over human and that she's not alone. I liked this part but felt Ms. Marvel should have been the one to deliver the line given they're BFFs.
